The EU and the USA are the most closely bound business and economic regions in the world.  Hollywood blockbusters are running in every cinema.  Since the end for World War II, the multi-faceted ties between the two markets have steadily developed and evolved.  The Amerikahaus institutions in Germany have served as a forum for spreading American cultural and political information and today are important locations for the USA in Germany.

Today the Amerikahaus in Munich is the largest such organization in Germany.  Dr. Meike Zwingenberger will present the Amerika Haus’ organizational history, outline its broad array of responsibilities, and provide an update on the future plans for the institution.
