The Munich Chapter of the German-American Business Association invites you to join our panel of distinguished experts: Topic: "Harnessing the Power of Silicon Valley and how to successfully tap into the Digital Powerhouse to create Business Value for your Organization."
Just 2,000 square miles large, the area commonly known as Silicon Valley (including San Francisco) has become the global icon of digital disruption. Even though it only represents roughly 1.2% of US population, Silicon Valley delivers $270 Bn in GDP, placing it among the 40 largest economies in the world. Silicon Valley has become a global phenomenon, observed from the outside with wide eyes. However, even though attempts to transfer learnings from Silicon Valley to other areas around the globe have yet failed to deliver a “Potemkin Silicon Valley”, companies and foreign investors alike are successfully figuring out ways to effectively harness the power of Silicon Valley and to stay ahead of the curve in the digital revolution. During our panel discussion, Silicon Valley practitioners will share their insights about how startups, SMEs, corporates and investors from around the globe are successfully tapping into Silicon Valley and leveraging its unique strengths to their own advantage.
