MING Event - End-of-Summer Jazz, Blues, R&B, Funk and Soul Music Festival

Dave Dowdy has organized the 2nd End-of-Summer Jazz, Blues, R&B, Funk and Soul Musical Festival.  Two bands will perform: Blue Heaven and Mel Canady with Chessboard, featuring the best horn section that Munich can offer with Ernest Butler, Charles Walker, Butch Kellem and Al Huber. You can dance to the best in black music from the 70s, 80s and 90s.

This is going to be a wonderful afternoon of good music, good dancing and good times. The party will be held in the beer garden.  If we have rain or cold weather we will hold the party in the tent located on the left side of the beer garden. There is no advance payment, nor is there a cover charge.  Just pay for the food and drink that you consume. We only ask for a small tip for the music.

There is parking space available if you want to arrive by car. You can also take the S-Bahn S7; exit is the Isartal Bahnhof.  From there it is about a 15-minute walk to the Waldwirtschaft.  The best way to get out there is by bicycle.  The Waldwirtschaft is very near to the Isar river. The Waldwirtschaft offers a full complement of good food, a mini-golf course and a fully-equipped children's playground.
