The Amerikahaus has been one of Munich’s key international meeting points since 1957.  Current plans include a temporar close during the summer of 2015 for essential renovation work (2-3 years) with the Amerikahaus organizations moving to a temporary site nearby. To celebrate Amerikahaus’ first 57 years (i.e. Amerikahaus I), Linda Jo Rizzo, Dave Dowdy, and the Amerikahaus team are organizing the Goodbye Amerikahaus I Jam Session, a MING event, which will be held from 2-6 PM on 25th May at Amerikahaus.

Come on out - everyone is invited! There will be music and dancing with a number of bands and singers performing all afternoon, and we will have finger food and drinks served at normal prices.  The entrance fee will be reasonable with the money being used to pay for the entertainment, organization, and facility costs. Linda is organizing the entertainment, music and catering, and Dave is handling the other organizational issues. The music and dancing will be in the Amerikahaus foyer, and with good weather, there will be seating outside.
