Here Come the Irish - St. Patrick’s Day Parade – 16th March

With our large Irish population here, Munich annually hosts the European Continent’s largest St. Patrick’s Day Parade, featuring participation of many Munich Area clubs and organizations. This year’s event will take place on Sunday, 16th March (i.e. the real St. Patrick’s Day). A group from the Democrats Abroad will join other MING members for this year’s march down the Leopoldstrasse to the Feldherrnhalle at Odeonsplatz, where several participants will be treated to some free food and drink. 

Please sign up to join us by informing Meghan Driscoll (dag-munich@democratsabroad.org) of your interest by Friday, 14th March. We are going to rendezvous at Münchner Freiheit-Feilitzstasse 13 at 11:15 AM. The parade launch is at noon, and the Odeonsplatz activities start around 1 PM. And … “let’s paint the town green” - dress in green and march with us to the fun at the Odeonsplatz.
