End of Summer Soul Jam – Sunday, 16th September

Dave Dowdy’s Triple D Events is hosting this year’s End of Summer Soul Jam, featuring the best in Munich soul, funk and pop music.

The Waldwirtschaft Großhesselohe invites you to the annual End of Summer Soul Jam.  Come on out and let's have some fun with the best of soul, funk and rhythm n' blues from Soulmaster Mel Canady and Chessboard.  Listen to the music of Chris Rhea, Johnny Guitar Watson, Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder, Otis Redding, Ray Charles, Bobby Womack, Marvin Gaye, Bill Withers, Doobie Brothers and more. The band will also feature the big horns from Charles Walker on sax and Butch Kellem on trombone. 

The Waldwirtschaft is one of the best beer gardens in Munich and offers a wide-variety of attractions (fully-equipped children's playground, mini-golf, etc.) plus good food and drink.  This is a perfect way to wind down the beer garden season and get ready for the Oktoberfest. 

Álso Dave will be celebrating his 72nd birthday there, and he would love to greet many of you and enjoy a wonderful afternoon of good music and dancing.
