The concert wholeheartedly embraces the German-American partnership between the Denver Philharmonic Orchestra and the Bayerische Philharmonie. Following the successful debut in the Fall of 2017, this musical friendship will be presented in a concert on the Fourth of July, the American Independence Day. Together with musicians from the Denver Philharmonic Orchestra, the Kammerorchester (chamber orchestra) of the Bayerische Philharmonie will perform the following program under the baton of Lawrence Golan:

Edvard Grieg - From Holberg's Time – Suite in olden style Op. 40

Peter Boyer - Three Olympians

Peter Iljitsch Tschaikowsky - Serenade for Strings in C major, Op. 48

Kammerorchester der Bayerischen Philharmonie accompanied by musicians from the Denver Philharmonic Orchestra with Lawrence Golan as guest conductor

As a special treat for the MING guests, you can participate in a concert introduction with the conductor in English which will take place about an hour before the concert begins.
