Long Night of the Consulates – US Consulate Munich – Thursday, 7th July

During the evening 7th July and under the lead of Staatsministerin Dr. Beate Merk, approximately 30 consulates here in Munich will hold open house events.

Participants in the Long Night of the Consulates will be able to get a better idea of the scope of work performed by the consulates and their related culture organizations while learning more about the respective countries, their cultures and most noteworthy points of interest. 

The US Consulate Munich will feature:

·         Activities related to the 100th year celebration of the founding of the US National Park Service.

·         Hands-on exposure and explanations on some American sports (e.g. baseball, football, etc.).

·         American snacks and drinks (at reasonable prices)

·         Background music

Please note that the participant numbers are limited.  You need to sign up by 1st July at MunichLongNight@state.gov.  Sign up information needs to include your first and last names, birth dates, nationality and request time slot – i.e. 1800, 1900 or 2000.
