GET CONNECTED. BE INSPIRED. YOU´RE INVITED!
That´s the motto for the Expat in the City Fair that will take place on 22nd of March in the Alte Kongresshalle (Alte Messegelände) in Munich, starting at 10 AM and running to 5 PM.
This is a special event to find out what’s happening in Munich. It’s geared for newcomers as well as for longer-term international residents. From relocation companies and financial organizations to personal training and social clubs (including a number of MING member organizations), they will all be there to describe and offer their services in English.
The day will be full of information and inspiration for all international folks living in Munich. One can meet the faces and places that can help make their life abroad easier and – equally important – more fun. Questions about topics such as finances, insurances, education, daycare, expat life, job search and fun things to do in the Munich area can all be answered at the fair – all in one day and all under one roof. A program full of workshops, expert talks and entertainment will ensure that visitors will leave the fair with the information and contacts they need and the inspiration to enjoy life in Munich to the fullest.
At the fair you will also find plenty of opportunities to mingle with other expats during the workshops and expert talks or in the Expat Networking lounge. The extensive program includes workshops on job search, salsa dancing, improv acting and beer tasting & expert talks about getting fit in Munich, how to thrive as an expat and information about bi-lingual daycare. There will also be entertainment from local internationals on-stage and delicious foods to enjoy. For families with children, Expat in the City has a dedicated kids’ area where they can play and meet other international kids.
Per Josef Schmid, Second Mayor of Munich.“In my capacity as patron, I am looking forward to the fair and would like to extend a warm welcome to all our visitors. Indeed, our support for “Expat in the City” is one of many ways in which Munich's local government wishes to welcome all international skilled workers and residents in Munich.”
If you are looking to meet new faces, learn about new places, discover opportunities & services or get connected to other expats in this great city - the Expat in the City Fair is something you don’t want to miss!
